My career began with an early education in architecture, after which I received a degree in Advertising Design from San Jose State University. Shortly after graduating, I established my own advertising/design firm in 1970. Over the next 31 years, Silverstein Associates received numerous local and national awards for creative excellence. In 2000 I left Silicon Valley and began a path of painting while continuing to provide limited advertising, corporate identity, and architectural consultation.
